Wrexham made their Division 3 debut with a hard fought 11-10 victory @ Newtown in blustery conditions. With their backs to the wind in the first half, they took the lead with a James Price penalty and an unconverted try by Capt Rob Moore. Newtown scored a penalty to make it an 8-3 halftime lead for Wrexham.
Newtown came back fighting in the second half and scored a converted try to lead 10-8 until the 70th minute when Jamie Morris added to the score with a very well taken penalty, for a 11-10 Wrexham victory.
Congratulations to the players and coaches, let's keep up the momentum!
